I accidentally uninstalled some HP apps, thinking it was my printer. Since then, my computer has frozen, screen gone black regularly and I have to completely restart. Is there a way to do a scan or an update that checks if i have all the HP things required

@AdamMcGrath89 -- can you run the "HP Support Assistant" app? It may download & install any "missing" software. If that app is not currently on your computer, then take a working computer, download the app from HP's web-site onto a memory-stick, and then move the memory-stick to your computer, and install/run the app.
