I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I've had my pc for nearly 2 years and at the start when i played games it would randomly do a restart so i thought maybe over time it would fix itself fast forward 2 years and i still have this same problem can anyone help?

Hi

Have you ever reinstalled Windows clean or reset Windows after backing up files and data to test for stability?

I would think you have a thermal problem (CPU or graphics card) if the PC restarts while playing games. It could also be a power supply problem or other hardware issues such as the graphics card, RAM modules or MB power delivery to the CPU.

The PC could be bluescreening and restarting. So you can't check the blue screen error codes in this situation. The bluescreen issue can be caused by corrupt system files, bad drivers, or hardware.

Check this site https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/windows-disable-restart-after-bsod for tips on stopping Windows from restarting after a bluescreen.

Try the above tweak to see if your PC is bluescreening. A no bluescreen condition suggests you have a thermal or hardware problem if the PC continues to restart. Or try an OS clean/reset after backing up data. Then troubleshoot hardware if the restart condition persists after a clean Windows installation and the PC is not bluescreening.

Hi

What did you try?

I can't provide any additional tips without knowing this.

Have a local PC tech check your PC to isolate the problem.
