The computer was working fine then I turned it off for the night, the morning next I try to turn it on and it won't boot, fans and lights turn on but no display then turns off right after. Seems like an bios update did go through and this started happening, reset CMOS and still no avail.

If you cannot recover the BIOS using all steps at this link:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04126730
Automated BIOS updates may cause problems. It is best to update the BIOS manually.
The symptoms you see can also be caused by a bad power supply or a component short. The PSU is shutting down to protect the PC.
