I want to use Killdisk and install win 7 on mp PC. However, My CD player doesn't show up as a bootable in the BIOS. I set it to SATA 2 and it still doesn't show up. My CD player works otherwise.

first of all I can only advise you to avoid this, at least not before taking certain precautions.
If you can, do the test with another hard drive, it will avoid damaging the whole system for nothing.
Your computer may not work under Windows 7, there are no drivers developed here:

And certainly other constraints!
