HP Pavillion 500 power button at front is not working !!! Please help

Example: Pavilion 500 PC series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi please see 

I have Pavillion 500 PC series, the back green signal is slowly blinking ,but the front power button is not turning on. 

changed the small round battery, not working

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Turn off the computer completely; disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.
  • With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. ...
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.
