HP Pavillion Slimline 400-034 will not turn on.

HP Pavillion Slimline 400-034
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
I am trying to turn on my PC however it will not start up. Nothing is happening, no fans or anything. Only a little green light in the back turns on occasionally. What am i supposed to do? I’ve only used this computer about 4 times.

Hi @morrisone20

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I understand that your computer is not powering on.

Please unplug all the cables ( including Power Cord), press and hold the Power Button for about 30 seconds.

Plug back everything and try powering on your computer.

If the issue persists, please contact our Phone Support for Service Options.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.

Thank you.

Hi @morrisone20

In your case, you need not be charged, since this is a Hardware issue and no further troubleshooting is really required. You can inform our Phone Support that you would like to send the Computer for repair for No Power Issue.

If the Computer is under warranty and there was No Accidental Damage, then the repair should be covered by the Warranty

Thank you.
