HP Pavillion desktop H61-uATX (Joshua) no display

HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion P6-2371ea
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an H61-uATX(Joshua) motherboard that has a peculiar problem. If I populate both DIMM slots the pc won't beep or boot and there is no display. If I populate DIMM1 slot I get the same, but if I populate just DIMM2 slot the pc boots into windows fine with a display. I have tried several different DIMMs in different configurations but to no avail. Could it be a faulty DIMM slot or is there something I am missing?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

@WasdaleWarrior

Welcome to the HP support community.

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
