Hello, I have a HP Pro 3400 which I've been trying to upgrade and my most recent upgrade has been giving me a challenge. I have attempted to install two different AMD Radeon R7 260X cards, a generic and Gigabyte card, to no avail. Both times I tried to install the cards the machine refused to boot, even to bios. No beeps or anything on the screen, and the keyboard is unresponsive. It doesn't seem to boot to windows because when I press the power button it shuts down instantly without needing to even hold down the button. After doing some research I tried updating the BIOS, resetting the CMOS, disabling fast boot, and going though BIOS settings with nothing changing. The motherboard is a Foxconn 2abf, which appears to be documented under the name "Cupertino2". Can anyone help?

Hi:
Looking at the available BIOS updates on your PC's support page, it appears the newest one is 7.16.
In order for an AMD R7-260 or nvidia GT 7xx video card or newer, your PC needs to have a BIOS family that is 8.xx or higher.
I'm thinking the newest AMD card you can install in that model is a Radeon HD 6xxx.
