Probook 4720s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Probook 4720s laptop has stopped turning on after I accidently dropped it. Now when I try to turn it on, there is a white light for a short time, then rapid orange blinking light above the charging port. I have tried replacing the battery, and after I did so the bootup screen went on, but inevitably turned off, and didn't show the bootup screen again. Please help me make this laptop turn on again.

You could have damaged the connector where the power-brick connects to the computer's motherboard.

So, your computer's battery is not getting recharged, and no electrical power is reaching the motherboard.

Can you start the computer with the cord from the power-brick totally disconnected?  Same symptoms?

You probably need to find a qualified computer technician to examine/repair that connector.
