Prodesk 600 G4

Good day forum,

 

I recently receive a new Prodesk 600 G4 desktop PC issues from my company.

 

For about the first few weeks everything seemed good. Now however every morning when I come into the office my PC is totally shutdown. All my open files are closed so it's not hibernating or sleeping.

 

I can use Wake on LAN to wake up the PC but nothing else works other than pushing the power button.

 

Again, this just started a couple weeks ago and it's very annoying. My Server/Security team has said that there isn't a GPO policy deployed that would shutdown systems at night.

 

Just wondering if anyone has seen a HP or Windows update that I can disable.

If, as you imply, this is a WORK PC, then they probably have it locked up tight so you can't make any changes to it -- but even if they don't, it would be best to have THEM fix (or replace) it, since if they then break it, that's not on you.
