Product: HP SSD EX900 M.2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am using an Asus x470 plus gaming motherboard and trying to install windows 10 onto my ex900 m.2 SSD (from a USB boot drive created on a mac) but I continue to get the error "window could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation." and then it prompts me to restart installation after choosing the unallocated space. Why can I not install Windows on this SSD? Please help!

Not able to download?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

or for a NON-MS OS maybe

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO

 

Then you have the tricky problem of making a W10 bootable USB in Catalina or wherever you live.

 

The dd command can do that for you.  if=input file   of=output file

 

 

But I assume it boots and the problem is with the BIOS not recognising and mounting the SSD?
