Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The Support Assistant told me to update the BIOS.  When I did, it killed my computer.  Corrupted BIOS

Greetings Salvo2,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

You may be able to flash the BIOS (Link to BIOS update) by following instructions here (Link). Note, this BIOS update is also supported on WIndows 7.

Check BIOS update instructions when Windows does not start.

You may have to contact HP Support if flashing the BIOS fails.

Regards
