HP Touchsmart 520 won't switch on

Product Name: HP Touchsmart 520 PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I was unplugging my power cords and I happened to turn off the power to my HP Touchsmart. Later on when I turned it back on, my HP Touchsmart won't switch on. The lights on the big batter adapter thing is on. The light at the back of the computer indicating that power is reaching the computer is on. However, I just can't turn it on at all. The power button does not light up.

I've tried the solutions posted on other threads but nothing has worked. I had just been using my computer the previous day. I suspect that me turning off the main power might have done something.

Look forward to getting some solutions.

Hi there @Galt84,

Please post the full product number for your computer. See the following, if you need help with that information.  HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?

Have you tried a different electrical outlet or a direct power connection to the wall outlet?

Do you have another power supply for your computer available to test with?
