HP all in one black screen

HP ENVY 20-d013w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp envy 20-d013w all in one desktop when i power it on the screen stays black. the fan is on just no image. I replaced the ram with new working ram still a black screen. I was told my firmware on my motherboard was bad I was searching for the firmware for this logic board 684854-001 windows 10 64 bit os but havent been able to find it. can you help me with that?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

 

"Firmware on the motherboard is bad"?  Someone is making a blind guess -- as motherboards don't actually have firmware, unless you include the BIOS/UEFI and that is a chip, not the motherboard itself.

 

A quick search I did on you model number indicated this PC came out in 2012.  IF yours is that old, it's more likely the video chip has failed.
