Pavilion 27-a070a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

As of yesterday, the light on the power button on my all in one desktop does not turn off after shutting down. There's also a slight noise from the computer itself as if it is still turned on. To turn it off completely I have to hold down the power button for four seconds before the light and the noise stops completely. Furthermore, powering on and restarting the computer now takes much longer to perform.

Otherwise, once the computer does turn on and I login, the system runs fine, with no noticable lag or problems.

Any help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi @NS137

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand that the computer is not powering off completely once you shut it down.

I'd like to help.

I suggest you update the Intel Ready Mode Driver from Here and the BIOS from Here

Also ensure you complete all the Windows Updates.

Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.

Keep me posted how it goes.

Thank you 🙂
