HP Envy 23 TouchSmart H4G18AA#AB4
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I was playing ffxiv when the screen suddenly started flashing red blue and green. It also smelled like burnt wires so I forced it to **bleep** down.

When I rebooted, it's flashing colors still.

I removed all external devices except keyboard and mouse - and the power chord just to be safe.

What do I do?

-update-

it's black screen now at startup. I dont have anywhere to plug a monitor either

Hello,

That was the first thing I did, none of it helped. I couldn't do Step 3, my monitor doesn't display anything so...

I'll get my machine looked at this weekend.

Thanks for trying.
