HP Recommended

        As I checked this solution today (which is offered in the HP Manual) with the case open, I also noticed that there is a single red light that also flashes on the mother board in sequence with the light on the power button.  I am not sure if this could mean something different than previously indicated . . . 

 

     The HP Z420  workstation shut down unexpectedly while using it this last week. When I attempted to power it back on, I received 4 flashing red lights on the power button, each also with a short beep.   I have replaced the power supply today, but still receive the 4 flashing red lights (with 4 beeps) at attempting to power up . . . But would love to know that there may be another option to having to replace the motherboard. 

     Any help is greatly appreciated ?
