Product: HP Z440
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am a little lost here. I created a bootable USB with CentOS Linux and it is recognized in the boot options in the BIOS but it won't boot up, just boots up into Windows 10, 64 bit, the system currently running on the PC. I have a HP Z440, system BIOS m60 V.01.62 and I have choosen the USB as first boot option, as mentioned I see my USB stick as one of the options in boot options. Secure boot is set "enable legacy disable secure boot" but still nothing happens. I have tried the USB 3.0 on the front and back and the 2.0 on the back. I do have a Lenovo ThinkPad, with Ubuntu running on it, and I can boot the USB on that machine.

Hello.

 

Try to manually launch the EFI file by selecting manually the USB stick and the EFI file associated by using the boot selector in the BIOS.

You should be able to find an option called "Load EFI File" or, in some way, you should be able to see the content of your USB.
