Did you try in legacy mode....sometimes secure boot messes with it.  IS it internal CD/DVD or external ?

I did try the legacy mode.

The DVD is an internal device.

Was not aware of an F9 option.

Any option that I see refers to a USB CD/DVD.  Nothing about an "internal" device.

See: HP 19 Upgrading & Servicing Guide for pictures on how to physically change the CD/DVD device.

See: pages 17 & 18 of the User Guide for details on how to temporarily change the boot order.

Or, if Windows 10 is still working, hold-down the SHIFT key on the keyboard, and then choose "Power" and "Restart".

Your computer will restart in a mode that should let you boot from the CD/DVD device.
