Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop won’t reboot.  It gets stuck at the HP screen.  I ran a hard drive diagnostic check and received the following failure ID

 

9u727w-7sda43-xd7wlk-60xm03

 

anybody know what this is and a remedy?

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced, and the operating system reinstalled.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable W10 installer using the Media creation tool at the link below.  You will need to create the installation media on another windows PC.

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
