Hello! So the laptop had an issue device boot not found 3fo, I followed the instructions until i got a failed test drive and now i'm left with a failure ID and the article https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06101701 said i have to contact HP support but I can't find a way to, when i went to the virtual agent my conversation lead to a dead end, it told me to come here. It's very frustrating because school has started and i need this laptop to work for my home situation.

The account I'm asking with isn't the account for the laptop, which isn't even mine, it's my sister's and she has no idea how to log into her hp account and it's even more frustrating.

I'll appreciate any and all help.

With the failure, the only way to handle this is to replace the hard drive and reinstall Windows.  Assuming it to be out of warranty.

When Windows is installed on the new hard drive, she/you can make a new logon, if needed.

The unit might be a HP Cloud Recovery tool eligible unit.  Try to get the download
