Product: HP Envy
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I needed to relocate the computer in the office, hooked it all back up and booted it with no problem. Plugged the second hdmi in for second monitor and the computer immediately shut off. Attempted to power the computer back on and it read Preparing Automatic Repair and was stuck there. So I hard shut down the machine and powered it back up, hit esc, then f2 to go into hardware diagnostics. Memory passed, hard drive passed, processor passed, all passed. Tried to go into system recovery to restore and it will not go into the system restore. I can’t get passed some sort of black screen whether it’s the normal hp screen with the dot wheel, or the Preparing Automatic Repair, or Please Wait (when trying to go into restore).
