I updated the BIOS from F.41 to F.57 using windows update as was an optional version. HP website only has the 41. Ever since upgraded my PC has been locking up constantly. I try creating a recovery USB stick with the F.41 BIOS, booted my computer into it, CTRL+A to enable the hidden Firmware Management option to appear in the menu, and browsed the F.41 version on the USB stick. As soon as I hit Apply it immediately says an error message and goes back to the previous menu. Something about cannot open string. I need to roll back to the 41 version BIOS and the automatics utilities from HP that do the upgrade say new version detected and cannot proceed. Checking if there is a way to force install the previous version even if by a command line or some other program to get me back to 41.
