Hp pavilion slimline s5212y no post and when it post it freezes and boot loops

Hello, I am a home user with an advanced knowledge of computers and I have a pavilion slimline s5212y from 2009 and it keeps doing this weird thing where it will freeze and the disk read light turns off and pretty much it freezes up entirely. And when it happens I hold down the power button and restart it, most of the time it doesn't post for like a month afterwards and after a month it works for like an hour and does it again sometimes it boot loops a few times before not posting for another month, I have diagnosed that the problem is the bios and I require a bios update, without one it's gonna repeat this.

Usually when there is no POST, there is a basic hardware issue -- but you're not going to find any recent BIOS updates for a 2009 PC -- so that fix is not going to be available.
