I load my pc on, it loads into a blank blue screen and proceeds to turn off after 30 seconds. Can somebody help me fix ?

Hi @Xxsankz

A blank blue screen provides no clue as to what is happening. 30 seconds is a long time.

See if you can get to the BIOS as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap "ESC". Then select "F10" to load the BIOS.

You probably have a Windows problem if you can see the BIOS. This is all I can say at this time.

Yes I can get into the bios of my pc, but what should I do then?

Hi @Xxsankz

Do you see a shutdown when you are in the BIOS for a while?

If no, this is very confusing.

Well, try the following to check hardware:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap "ESC". Select "F2".

Run system and component tests.

Successful hardware tests would suggest Windows is corrupted. Fixing a corrupted Windows boot loader is very complex.

Your PC supports HP W10 Cloud Recovery

You should back up data prior to doing a cloud recovery. Either: remove the system disk, connect it to a different PC as a data drive, or use a USB Hirem's rescue drive on the target PC to save data to external media.

No I do not see a shutdown in the bios, I have tan tests and everything passed except for a usb port,  pretty sure I have a corrupted windows boot loader. Any idea on how to fix ?

Hi @Xxsankz

A faulty USB port can cause problems. I can't explain why you see a blank blue screen. A shutdown usually points to hardware problems like a faulty PSU, bad hardware, or a short to ground.

Try only the keyboard and mouse. Disconnect all other USB peripherals. Then connect the mouse and keyboard to all other compatible USB ports if it still blue screens.

Fixing a corrupted boot loader can be a real pain. The steps often don't work.

This YouTuber explains how to repair the bootloader in the EFI System Partition.
