Hp Compaq DC 5800 MicroTower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Compaq DC 5800 MicroTower, and it has a flashing red light with 4 beeps, and it repeats 5 times. Any idea what the issue might be? This computer is stock, and has no add ones to its motherboard (gpu, soundcard, wifi card). There is only OEM parts. I was wondering what the issue might be?

Any help would be appreciated, and I would like to thank you for your time!

Hi
Depending on the age of the PC and the BIOS vendor...
The 4th, 5th and 6th characters of the Serial Number give the age when it went thru the factory...
EGG345FLAN That is 2013 45 th week.

EG:-

LED blinks 4 times

Graphics

Graphics controller failure.

Test the Main-Board with the minimum hardware & reseat all connections and graphics cards.

If the issue persists, send out Main-Board and if applicable graphics card for Mobile Workstations.

Caps/Num lock lights = 4 blinks - Graphics controller error

Blinks RED 4 times, once per second, then 2 second pause, 4 beeps Power Failure: (power supply is overloaded)

But you need to match yourself.
