i need the bios file for HP Pavilion dv5-1225ee Entertainment Notebook because the current one is corrupted and i can't boot into windows anymore and i have been searching everywhere for a couple hours and i can't find it, and ofc it's not available here so where can i find it?

Unfortunately, the only way the BIOS can be updated is via Windows.

 

Here is the Windows based BIOS flash file for your notebook.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45138.exe 

 

Perhaps there is a way to extract the files from the exe file but usually you need a BIOS flashing tool to do things like that and no one here would be able to help you with that.

 

Take the PC to a repair shop and see if anything can be done to recover the BIOS with the above file.

thx, i already have another pc to extract the file from the exe but i don't have that "flashing tool" so i'll see what i can do with that.
