Restart your computer.

As soon it begins to restart, keep tapping the F8 key, until you see a "windows repair" menu.

You might have an option to use "System Restore", to time-warp your computer back to a "check-point" that was created a few days ago, when your computer was working normally.

Installation problem

If Windows is that messed-up such that it will not respond to 'F8', it is time to re-install Windows.

Take the computer to a qualified computer technician, to:

1. remove the disk-drive, and copy all your personal files onto an external disk-drive, to create a "backup";

2. reinstall Windows;

3. run Windows Update;

4. install any other programs (Adobe Reader? Microsoft Office?);

5. restore from your "backup";
