Installed an HP SSD in an HP slimline Desktop 290-p0056 Cloned OK with Acronis but can't boot it

slimline Desktop 290-p0056
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If put the SSD first in the boot order message says not  bootable when I return to the original hard drive it boots as usual

What type of SSD did you install SATA or NVMe?


According to this discussion only NVMe M.2 drives work.
