Irritating fan noise on Envy 32 All-in-one

HP Recommended
Envy 32 - a1001na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Took delivery of this machine from Curry's, yesterday,  and I'm hearing what sounds like a constant whirring of a fan. It's becoming distracting and wondered whether anyone else has (or had) this same issue?

Hi,

A annoyingly loud fan on a new PC is not good. Noise tolerance is subjective.

I would consider a return/refund or exchange if you consider the fan noise excessive.

The system could be indexing and doing updates. Give it a couple of days to see if things quiet down.

Regards
