Solved!

Is my PC done for?

pavilion ms200
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I posted a message earlier today with no response yet.

My all-in-one desktop pavilion MS200 has a black blank screen with the power light on solid green. This machine was tuned/checked out yesterday.

I have removed the power cord and pushed the power button for 30+ seconds with no other devices connected. I replaced the power cord and pushed the power button one time. The power light came on solid green. There is no sound. I did not hear the drive do anything and the fans are not running.

Is there something I can do to get it started again? If not what are the possible components that have failed?

Does anyone have experience or ideas regarding this issue?

Solved!

Is my PC done for?

Greetings Mike,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Who tuned up your PC? Take it back to the tech doing the work.

Your PC was introduced by HP in 2009.

Was the PC working correctly before the tuneup?

Common failure points, given the age of your system, could be the external PSU or the motherboard.

Motherboard component failure includes integrated components. Your PC is a AIO unit. Just about everything is integrated on the system board except for the RAM, HDD, and the processor.

It never hurts to install a new CR2032 MB battery while you are troubleshooting.

Regards
