is this a real desktop posted to Desktop forum why post laptop to desktop forum, we have only one answer or 2.

I pass on PW

but have one comment  only

if you fail to replace the RTC battery on any PC made and they go dead as soon as 5years old

then if dead the BIOS goes NUTS

even asking for PW never ever seen or set by you, (not talking windows pw) just BIOS. and related.

never skip battery service, first, ok?

now if this really is  laptop and x360  ,  with an x in front, thin cracker thin laptop, like my son likes and I hate.

The big battery in any laptop made can short and then overload the PC main power rails

if that happens the PC does wild things,  so we unplug it next after new RTC installed.

run with no big battery at all on AC power pack see if PC wakes up if  yes, see THERE IS NO REAL PASSWORD.

I AM  HARDWARE GUY SEE THAT, I treat software like changing dirty  socks.

in my shop I even pull the hDD out.  to prove it is not part of the pain,. or the SSD if that is there.

only you know if passwords were put into the BIOS, my post is for when you know YOU DID NOT. nor the kids.

see BIOS lie now for 30 + years, and easy to fix if you do the tests.

bit locker not used.

admin pw not set or user pw.

boot PW not set bios. (aka, power on pw)

HDD encryption not set.

and last omg TPM not set.   CIA mode.

changing batteries and finding shorted parts in any PC is not illegal yet,

NO warranty answers by me.
