According to this document your motherboard name is Cleveland GL-8 and was a Pegatron design board ID: 2AB6
the last BIOS release for the pegatron 2A86 was version 7.15
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55501-56000/sp55548.exe
I peeked at the documentation and it only mentioned "IPISB-CH"
please look at your motherboard. if it is version IPISB-CH rev:1.04 then this BIOS may work
you mentioned you have an aging but very good PC that still works. It's always dangerous to update any BIOS and I don't think this version is going to get you anything useful especially after reading that game debate article
install this BIOS at your own risk
