Locked out of my desktop

I have an all-in-one desktop, Envy 23. Several weeks ago my password was changed and I do not remember it. I do not have a password reset disk.  How can I recover my password?

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

This forum does not support password remediation.

 

How did your password change? I have never had a PC arbitrarily change the password without my intervention.

 

Ransomware variants could possibly do this.
