HP Pavilion 590-p0089

Update the BIOS through Windows Update as an optional which changed my BIOS from F.41 to F.57. Ever since this happened my PC now locks up when on for up to an hour. It is not a software issue as been doing this on a second drive with an OS on it as well.

I went through the steps to create a BIOS recovery USB stick and even booted off the stick into diagnostics. Firmware Management button was missing until I CTRL+A to make it appear. Then asked for a CSO and Agent ID then enables the option. I browsed the USB drive, selected the HP/BIOS CURRENT/8433 file and hit apply. As soon as that happens error cannot read signature file. I verified the signature file is in same folder as BIOS.

I also read articles about Windows + B key when computer starts and my PC beeps accordingly but nothing shows on screen so suspect the model PC I have doesn't support BIOS recovery.

Reaching out to see how to force downgrade the BIOS to F.41 which is latest on the HP website and to get my pc working again to not lock up.

The problem with Bios release 57 has shown up before

please contact HP support and ask for special download to allow revert to older bios

Nothing will be done unless someone complains.  Micro$oft seems to have released inappropriate bios.
