Monitor shows going to sleep message after startup

HP 110-217in DESKTOP PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Whenever I press the button on my CPU the fan starts but the monitor does not start and shows 'going to sleep'.

I have checked the motherboard , harddiks and cables , all are fine.

Once the monitor started and showed preparing automatic repair but it again went to sleep and not responding since then while the cpu light remains on .

i will be grateful to receive a solution soon.

Monitor shows going to sleep message after startup

Hi

Have you checked the power and data connections to the monitor and the back of the PC?

The monitor is going to sleep because no input signal is being sent to the monitor from the Intel integrated graphics processor.

Your PC's motherboard does not have a PCIe x16 graphics card expansion slot so you cannot install a discrete graphics card to test for video.

Best option is to have a local PC technician diagnose the cause.

Grzy
