Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently installed some necessary windows updates on my desktop and once it rebooted it looked fine until i put my pin code to unlock the start screen and it opened fine but then within 30 seconds after unlocking it started flashing a white screen it would be normal a few seconds and then it would quickly flash to a solid white page and then back and forth and wouldn't stop not even long enough for me to start up in safe mode so i attempted to fix it in start up by restoring it to  Factory settings but I chose to keep all my files because because I have a lot important files on This computer that I need for a future court date and I can't afford to lose these files but after restoring it  It did not fix anything it still continues to Flash  A white screen back-and-forth does anyone know any way I can fix  This?

You need to know that the factory reset does NOT retain personal files.

The FIRST thing you need to do, since you apparently have not bothered to backup these critical files to a USB stick is read the details below about making a boot USB stick -- as you can then use that, with another USB stick, to copy off these critical files.

Anything you now to to correct the PC booting issue risks erasing and/or overwriting these files!

What MIGHT work is the following:
1) On a working PC, use this link to download and install a free copy of Macrium Reflect: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
2) Once that is installed, use the option to create a Boot USB stick (Other Tasks --> Create Rescue Media). This creates a bootable USB stick that runs a version of Windows.
3) Boot the PC from that USB stick. To do this, try pressing F9 repeatedly while booting to get a boot drive menu, or press the Esc key repeatedly while booting to get an HP utilities menu, and select the boot menu from that
4) Be patient ... as booting from a USB stick is really, really slow
5) Once in the MR recovery environment, you can then remove the USB stick.
6) Insert a USB stick for holding data and, down at the bottom left of the windows screen are some icons. Select the one on the right to open a form of File Explorer.
7) Use the File Explorer app to locate the files you need and copy them to the USB stick.

Good Luck
