Example: Pavilion p6240f
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Pavilion p6240f desktop powers up but then hangs up on the blue HP startup page, the one with the hand and 4 F function key options - none of which work.  I've restarted repeatedly after fixing a power up problem but can get no further than this screen - I never reach windows or my normal desktop screen.  I may have had a recent windows update.  Can you help me?
