the tower wont turn on or start up. The monitor i have connected says there is no input signal either

I am sorry for not providing more troubleshooting information.

 

You have stated, indirectly, that nothing is happening when you depress the power switch.

 

These symptoms usually indicate the power supply has failed or the motherboard has failed.

 

Try a different AC outlet. Check power supply connection to the power supply. You should see a solid green LED where the AC power cable connects to the PC's power supply.

 

Try a different AC power cable.
