Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop is stuck on my schools website page and I have tried turning it off and it’s not working and also the mouse is not working. Basically nothing I try to do is responding.

If you just "tap" the power button, Windows may go into "sleep" mode. When you end the sleep, the computer resumes exactly where it was (showing that web-page) before the sleep started.

 

Hold-down the power button for 30 seconds, to force the computer to completely power-off.

Then, when you power-on your computer, Windows will be started from "zero" -- not from the "sleep" checkpoint.
