My laptop locked itself by random and won’t power on at all

This has shown up a few times so you might try the following that supposedly worked
This user tried that hard reset 5 times and then let it sit for several hours.
Another one replaced the power cord. Possibly the transformer in the power cord (wall wart) was bad. Do not order a power cord or you may end up with two working cords and a dead laptop. I recommend you take it to a shop and if the power cord (charger) is bad when they test it then buy the cord/charger. Talk to sales and not tech support else you will have to pay a fee in addition to the cost of the cord.

Try a hard reset:
Turn off the computer - hold power button down for 20 full seconds then release. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the ESC key and enter the diagnostic option page (F2 is diags)
If it does not power on then try one more time.
Are there any flashing LEDs or beep codes?
