NO OPTION TO BOOT FROM USB ON PAVILION P6710F

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have HP P6710F desktop with Windows 10 OS (32 bit). I also have 12GB of RAM ho25GB is useable and i am informed that is because i have 32 bit OS. Did some "looking-into" converting to 64 bit OS and Microsoft has really good info and step-by-step how-to also.

Followed all the steps provided by Microsoft but was NOT able to use the USB drive as there is no option to boot from USB.

According to HP Support sites it is very simple to change - i tried with esc and there are four options

1) Seagtae Expansion Disk

2) ST31000528A5 - no idea what this is.

3) ho CDDVDW TS-H6537 - no idea what this is

4) Realtek PXE B03 D00 - again no idea what thi is

On trying with F10 at boot-time

There is no option to change boot options

So i am really stuck and i am trying to get this nailed-down but to no avail.

Any assist would be great.

Thanking you.

NO OPTION TO BOOT FROM USB ON PAVILION P6710F

Hi,

The Alvorix motherboard in the HP p6710f doesn't support booting from USB devices.

Burn W10 to DVD+r media if your want to boot up W10 installation media. That wold be using device 3) on your list.

BTW ----Please review this information.  Similar information is also posted here.
