My new desktop will not power on? I see the little fan in back starts turning but no noise, no start up, nothing.

my old desktop was doing same thing that’s why we bought new one.   Both will not power on in any plugins...????monitor is plugged, mouse, plugged in.  Nothing works.  Any ideas.  It can’t be both computers not powering in any plug in house!!!

On the back of desktop model cases, there are often slider switches that can be moved between 50Hz and 60Hz.

If you are in the US, you would need 60Hz and would need to check the case to ensure the switch is set properly.

If your are outside the US, you might need 50HZ -- but you would need to check to find out what your mains uses.
