Product: HP pentium pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Had the PC less than a week. Daughter has only used it to log in to and play mine craft. Today she tried to turn but it’s not working. The monitor shows hp logo then screen goes blank and nothing…..

Do I need to return it? I’ve tried unplugging everything and checking the cables. All ok. There are no beeps; a white power light comes on then we hear the fan for a few seconds but the when hp logo shows on monitor it all goes quiet and screen goes black. 
Any advice please?

You should definitely NOT be having issues like this with a new purchase.  This is not good sign and indicates a PC that will continue to give you problems.  If this were mine, I would return it.
