No Bootable device -insert boot disk and press any key

Computer was first saying
"select boot image did not authenticate" but after enable/disable the legacy it now says "No bootable device.
Need help. Has been like this since right after warrrenty expiration.. of course

No Bootable device -insert boot disk and press any key

There are several reason that might cause that message. 

The worst being the hard drive has failed. 

Other reasons that message might appear:

1) a non-bootable media in still inserted in another device - media card or DC/DVD drive or floppy drive

2) the boot manager has been corrupted or altered

3) the system drive has been erased or corrupted

 

Without better information on this device and the Windows version, it is not reasonable to go further with suppositions.
