Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP ENVY All-in-One 27-p014 that has been working fine until recently. This morning, I turned it on and it went into standby as I did other things around the house.

I returned to it less than 2 hours later and the desktop will no longer turn on. I tested the power source and determined it wasn't that since other devices are connected without issue.

I thought it was the power cord itself, but after plugging it into another HP laptop, it worked. I am assuming it has something to do with the power supply to the computer because when the power cord is plugged into the back, there is no light whatsoever.

All the guidance I have seen online is regarding the computer not booting up properly, but I haven't seen any where there is no power to the device at all.

Based on what I've been  able to find online so far, I have tried holding down the power button to try and drain the electricity, I've plugged out and back in the CMOS battery. At this point, I am considering testing to see if there is power running to the computer at all but I do not want to have to remove the motherboard to do so.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
