I had some HP updates in the HP Support Assistant a couple of weeks back.  There was 1 or 2 for Realtek and a Bios update.  I updated all.  Since then my num lock no longer comes on when the computer boots.  I have been inside the Bios and it shows as "on" on boot up.  I've tried turning it off and saving it, still doesn't come up when the computer boots so I went back in and set it back to "on" on boot up.  Still won't come up on boot up.

Does anyone have any other thoughts?

@Troyr30 -- you probably are "stuck" -- the program that updates the BIOS will not allow you to install an "older" BIOS.

Try a different keyboard ???
