I have this old motherboard - model 361682-001 which is from a DC7100 I believe - and I want to fire it up but PSU does not have a six pin motherboard power connector, only a four pin.
What can I do about this? I have to get another PSU? Or there's an adapter? Or a jumper on the board? Or there's a special cable?
Or forget the whole thing?

HERE is a pinout for the 6 pin plug. According to that page, it is the same as the 6 pin for a video card power. That would be available on newer power supplies or you could make an adapter. I did find an adapter, but cannot verify if it will suit your needs.
I'm not an HP employee.

Yep, thanks a lot for all that. Excellent resource, those pages. I've bookmarked them and downloaded them. Doubtless over the next few months I'll lose both. 😞
Don't thinkt he adaptor works for what I want. Don't understand it. Seems to be molex 4 pin peripheral power but only got three pins in there... and uses two of them to get 6 pins.... and refers to the whole thing as a 6 pin connector...
No matter. I can make something up from those pinouts.
