Hello, I replaced my Omen 25L SSD. And it brought up a screen that stares “boot device not found”. I tried to use the guide that was provided but still nothing worked. Do I need to input my old SSD and do something before I install the new one.

I used something like this
https://www.amazon.com/KingSpec-Enclosure-Adapter-10Gbps-Support/dp/B0BMPN6DBD
and cloned my old drive to the new ssd using Western Digital free clone software.
I then remove the old SSD and put the new one in.
The old SSD is being used as a fast flash USB memory.

If the old drive still works and you replaced it to get more capacity, then what @BeemerBiker posted is what you can do. The message "boot device not found” means there is nothing on the new drive that was installed and no Windows (not being there) then the computer has nothing to give it directions.
You can also install Windows without doing the clone as BeemerBiker suggested but you will need the Windows install Media or the HP Recovery media.
