Omni 220 won’t boot

HP Omni 220 all in one
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi, after I interrupted windows update I can’t get my machine to boot. Seems to freeze in the bios and won’t even let me go into bios setup. I’ve reset my cmos using the jumpers near the ram but still freezes in bios at “default BIOS settings have been loaded”. At this point keyboard not responding to caps lock etc. still can’t access bios settings. Maybe I interrupted windows updating the bios? Is this possible? Thanks

Omni 220 won’t boot

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I’m unable to get windows to boot so can’t run system test.

I have run through HP Guided Troubleshooter but still get stuck on the same screen “default BIOS settings loaded”

Is there a way to re-flash the bios in this machine? Seems like the BIOS is corrupted as the keyboard is unresponsive at this screen. Power button is however responsive.

Cheers, MikeC
